The Campaign Against Human Trafficking – Southshore has, since their founding, focused on supporting victims and presenting educational prevention information.

This year, we will add a new program aimed at reducing the demand that fosters human trafficking – TFZ or Trafficking Free Zones.

Human Trafficking is a 150-BILLION-dollar industry based on supply and demand

To end sexual exploitation and human trafficking, we need to address the root cause – the sex buyer. Enforcement of laws, stronger penalties for perpetrators, and other deterrence factors have shown that demand reduction works.

Education and increased situational awareness are two activities that all of us can practice that will help to reduce demand and prevent human trafficking.
