Human Trafficking is a 150-BILLION-dollar industry based on supply and demand.
To end sexual exploitation and human trafficking, we need to address the root cause – the sex buyer. Enforcement of laws, stronger penalties for perpetrators, and other deterrence factors have shown that demand reduction works.
Education and increased situational awareness are two activities that all of us can practice that will help to reduce demand and prevent human trafficking.
