Our March meeting was a good one! The speaker for our March meeting was Anthony Sardone. He is 60 years old with a BA from Arkansas State University and Masters in Sociology. He has 17 years in the field of Social Work / Counseling.
His presentation: America in the 21st Century: Are We Truly a Better Society with Technology?
This was an interactive and informative presentation. Topics included a thought-provoking talk about the power of technology in today’s society, and how technology aids and abets predators. We agreed it’s not a bad thing to question technology’s negative impact on society while celebrating the wonderful aspects of technology.
