In the coming days, the Senate is expected to vote on the FOSTA-SESTA legislative package recently passed by the House to amend the Communications Decency Act (CDA).  According to the National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE), “This is the most important legislative initiative on sex trafficking since the passage of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act in 2000. As we have noted before, unless the CDA is amended, sex trafficking websites will remain immune from any liability.”
