February General Meeting

Campaign Against Human Trafficking-SouthShore (CAHT) will host at their February 17th general meeting, John Long, Program Director of the safe home for boys at the US Institute Against Human Trafficking (USIAHT), Tampa, Florida.  USIAHT has one of the few safe homes for boys who are victims of sex trafficking in the U.S.  The home offers a trauma-base care approach, developed as a six month or longer program for boys under the age of 18.  CAHT is a donor and supporter of this unique safe home for boys. Mr. Long’s presentation will share some of the difficulties in finding human trafficked boy victims as well as the recovery module they use.  The meeting location is the United Methodist Church, room 30, 1210 W. Del Webb Blvd, Sun City Center, FL.  Social time is at 12:30 and the meeting begins at 1:00 pm.  This is a free service that CAHT provides our community in their efforts to improve public awareness and education prevention about human trafficking and domestic violence scenarios.  For more information contact, President Annie Garrison, 813-938-5660 or anngarrison66@gmail.com
