CAHT has its own happy elves organizing and packing up Christmas gift baskets and bags for one of Selah Freedom’s human trafficking rehabilitation homes. Gift cards, clothing, toiletries, and even a gingerbread house were packaged and delivered this weekend to Laurie Swink, co-founder, and president of Selah Freedom. CAHT’s Victim Services Committee, under the leadership of Bonnie Doll, put together the Christmas baskets that will be handed out to survivors and staff at the Assessment Home, where survivors start their recovery process. CAHT (Campaign against Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence -Southshore) has been a long supporter of Selah Freedom’s well-known successful track record in assisting teens and young women who have escaped being sexually trafficked. There will be many smiles over the holidays for these resilient ladies dealing with high levels of trauma.
