CAHT’s November General Meeting

The November 15th meeting of the Campaign Against Human Trafficking – South Shore (CAHT) will be held at United Methodist Church, Room 30, at 6:30 pm.

Jessica DeLaPrida, Hispanic & Multicultural Outreach Coordinator and Carol Mayo, Supervisor, Migrant Education Program with Hillsborough County Public School System will address multi-Cultural issues related to our students and their families. We will focus on communications, language barriers, student participation, and cultural issues our students and families experience. 

Since October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, we will touch on how domestic violence can create obstacles to a student’s learning experience. 

A discussion of possible solutions, including how mentoring can help to identify problems and assist with solutions.

The Campaign Against Human Trafficking is an 11-year-old 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization. Your support will help fund our safe sheltering program, victim services, educational awareness and prevention activities to schools and the community.
