CAHT honors the importance of this national recognition as it is part of our mission to educate the community and help our schools prevent child abuse from happening. Our children need our precious resources and our guidance whether we are their moms, dads, grandparents, teachers, aunts and uncles, or just caring neighbors. With some much world turmoil as well as our own huge population of underserved, but deserving families in our our community, CAHT is very busy support our youth and helping keep predators away. Reported family abuse cases are on the rise, since January there are over 750 cases reported just in the south shore area alone! Just think about those that go unreported.
